Founded in September 2016, Powerean develops, manufactures and sells automotive-grade lithium batteries. Built on a refined materials system and distinctive cell-manufacturing processes, we produce ultra-high-power lithium batteries based on both LFP and NCM chemistries. Our core production base in Wuxi, Jiangsu covers 400 mu, with an annual capacity of around 8 million cells plus matching pack supply — recognised by leading manufacturers worldwide for ultra-low-temperature performance and exceptionally long cycle life.
We employ 450 people, including 180 R&D engineers. As a full-line manufacturer and service provider, we deliver end-to-end lithium battery development and OEM/ODM capability — spanning cell selection, intelligent BMS development, pack structural design, thermal management, system integration, testing and validation, and volume manufacturing. Powerean is committed to service that is precise, fast and stable.
Our batteries power starter batteries, industrial equipment, telecom base stations, PV storage, medical electronics, marine, AGVs, robotics, rail infrastructure, security & communications, commercial finance, transport & logistics, grid storage and solar street lighting. Products are sold across China and exported to Europe, the Americas, Japan, Korea, the Middle East and Southeast Asia — supported by 54 overseas service points.

Fourteen controlled stages, from slurry to sorted cell.
Every stage runs under a traceable process with in-line inspection — inside our fully automated pouch-cell plant in Wuxi.

Slurry Mixing
Active materials, binder and solvent are mixed into a homogeneous slurry under controlled conditions.

Coating
Slurry is coated onto foil at precise thickness with in-line monitoring (±1.5%).

Roll Pressing
Electrodes are calendered to target density, circular runout kept under 3 μm.

Slitting
Coated rolls are slit to the exact electrode width.

Stacking
Anode, separator and cathode are stacked into the cell core.

Tab Welding
Tabs are ultrasonically welded to form the current collectors.

Baking
Cells are vacuum-baked to remove residual moisture.

Electrolyte Filling
Precisely metered electrolyte is injected under vacuum.

Wetting / Ageing
Cells rest so the electrolyte fully wets the electrode structure.

Formation
First charge–discharge builds the SEI layer and activates the cell.

Degassing
Gas generated during formation is extracted and the cell is resealed.

Edge Folding
Pouch edges are folded and sealed to final dimensions.

Capacity Grading
Each cell is charged and discharged to measure true capacity.

Sorting
Cells are sorted by capacity, voltage and internal resistance for consistent packs.
